We currently do not accept health insurance for our telehealth services.  Rather, we operate on a direct-pay model that provides transparent and affordable pricing without the complexities often associated with insurance claims and approvals.  

Although we do not accept traditional health insurance, patients can make payments using their Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) accounts.  We also accept debit and credit card payment via our secure online payment system

Additionally, if a Curbside clinician provides you with a prescription or referral , these services are often covered by your insurance carrier, and we will work with you to provide any required paperwork to expedite your care.

The Curbside team is made up of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) who are highly trained and specialized in orthopedic medicine.  All of our current providers have practiced clinically for >15 years and are active members of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.  The shared experience and expertise of our team ensures that patients receive definitive information about their condition and minimize potential delays in care.

Curbside services are available for any individual over the age of 13 seeking timely, high-quality orthopedic care, regardless of insurance status.  Through the Curbside platform, individuals can schedule and see Curbside clinicians from the comfort of their own home.  Our services can be an effective time-saving and cost-effective option for individuals with high-deductible insurance plans, stipulations in coverage that require a referral or pre-authorization, or simply do not have insurance.

Curbside services should not be used for medical emergencies.  Any potential medical emergency or life-threatening symptoms should be handled by contacting 911 and/or by visiting the nearest emergency room.

At Curbside, we strive to provide simple and transparent pricing so that our patients can make informed decisions about the medical services that they require.  Our paid services are built around our telehealth consultations which are tailored to diagnose and educate patients about their condition.  For patients requiring doctor’s notes, medications, and/or referrals, we offer additional add-on services to help support you on your journey to treatment and recovery.

We find that most of our telehealth consultations can be completed within 20 minutes.  For those patients requiring additional time or services, we bill accordingly based on the time required for our team members to effectively coordinate care on your behalf.  For instance, the additional cost for prescribing medications is to ensure that all steps on our end have been completed  to ensure that your medications are ready for pick-up when you arrive at the pharmacy.
